The Beatles eight-minute avant-garde work, Revolution No. 9 is a bizarre “musique concrete” piece that bears influences from Karlheinz Stockhausen, Edgard Varèse, Luigi Nono, and John Cage. In my research on Revolution No. 9, it turned up a lot of interesting and very creative video responses from YouTube, which I’ve included for our Pith Music audiences. Only one person can be the best at something. Ralf Laue of Germany, for example, stacked 555 dominoes on a single supporting domino. According to the Guinness Book of World Records this accomplishment has never been equaled. Presuming that you are not Ralf Laue, it seems safe to say that you are not the best domino stacker.
